Self Help Computer Group

The Computer group is created to support each other in self-help initiatives and common projects, it designed for those whose purpose is to improve their lives via computing & communication.

The purpose of the Self Help Computer Group, to help to Charitable and Non-Profit organizations to build their Web and to Educate their members, to help them use the computers and Internet. Our purpose also to help people in need to find employment or other solutions to improve their lives.

Organization principles

1. Help
We promote idea of help in the community. Help to each other and get more people involved in mutual help. Our ultimate goal to help in your pursuit of happiness.

2. Responsibility
To join the group is to share its ideas. Take responsibility: you can take be responsible for creating of your web page, or helping to friend, or teaching the group of students or� . It's up to you what responsibility you will take. But you have to take responsibility and make others know what your responsibility is.

3. Communication
For its nature humans need love and companionship. We are creating supportive environment to provide friendship and communication. Nobody has to be alone. To contact each other and participate in the group meetings at least once a week.

4. Openness
 We are open, inclusive, community oriented, non-discriminatory group. A significant focus will be on the communities that are under represented in the society. We are going to make known our ideas, activities and members to whole community to provide wider resource sharing and community participation.

5. Resource Sharing
 We are going to work together with different organizations. Self Help Computer Group it's Self Help initiative, we are born for the People and we will work together with any Organizations whose activity purposed to help to the People. We are willing to participate in common Projects, to share our resources and to use community resources. Your help and participation are welcome.

6. Privacy
 We understand that sometimes people don't want to publish there names. In that case we are ready to work out conditions of Your participation.

Internet, communication, community

Sometime Internet called network of networks, and it gives communication solutions.

You can find various resources on the net: friends, professional advice, technical resources, life mate, special interest group, etc.

Some of the resources are free, you have to pay only for internet connection and telethon line usage, but... for other you have to pay

Internet it's major communication line, that came to resolve the problems of connection to the right resource. Business community widely uses this source.

But what about people in need? Those who have no money to pay for the services? Those who have no credit card? Those who despair in the life and don't know where to get help?

Solution has to be found. We are going to different communities to teach people, to help them find access to services that are not available now, to make resource finding possible, to make resource available.

Other direction of our activity is creating more resources available.

1. Meet a friend [dating] - commercial resource worldwide - we are going to create regional web pages there you can place information about yourself and your e-mail so others could contact you.

2. Here is place for your ideas. Tell the World what you need freely available on the Web.
